Maintain A Balance Of Activities ;That Are Of Value To You

It is clear to me that I am most satisfied when a balance of each of these are present:

  • Accomplishing goals (work)
  • Warm relationships/Being with friends
  • Exercise/Sports (participating)
  • Good food (reasonable portions)
  • Music
  • Quiet time
  • Social events
  • Learning
  • Teaching others

Most of my life I have been a true work-alcholic which I can now see is an imbalance. I have seen others whose primary activity is eating. Others become exercise freaks at the expense of all else... bad balance. A perfect balance will never be achieved, but most of us will benefit from trying for it.

A good balance also widen your choice of friends. If music is your only activity, how can you make friends with sports enthusiasts?
