| The human race
must enjoy guessing games versus having things run smoothly, judging from
the way they act. A person in a relationship normally has a fairly clear
idea of what they expect from the other person (or all other persons)
but for some reason they expect the other person to know what these expectations
are. It is most frustrating to try one thing after another to please another
person and to have none of them work. How much better to have the other
person state simply and clearly what their expectations are, and then
let the person do their thing to meet them.
If what you want is not clear to you, the process of telling others
will be very difficult. Maybe it's time for hard thinking, coaching,
or counseling, to better understand yourself so others will have a chance
to understand you. |
